Who I am
Hello! I’m Bethany Trimmer, PMP. I’m the owner, Project Wrangler, Technology Counselor, and IT Guide here at Picaroon Solutions. I’ve been providing IT, technical training, and project management services to companies across the DC Metro region and beyond for over 20 years. I offer a wide range of services to help you, your staff, and your business with whatever technology needs you have. I’ve worked particularly closely with healthcare, non-profit, and small contracting organizations to help overcome their unique technology challenges. I have experience leading and participating in many types and sizes of IT and business projects, and I’m intimately familiar with project management, technology implementation and training, office moves, and IT and customer support management. I’ve had my hands on a huge variety of technology – hardware, software, cloud services, network infrastructure, telecom, you name it.
What I do
So what do I actually do, and how can I help you? I help my clients organize, manage, and complete their projects, and I provide training so their staff are comfortable with the technology they have. I review the technology my clients use, offer guidance on how to use it more effectively, and help change or upgrade it if it’s not meeting their needs. I also help design and improve business processes, write and edit proposals, and assist with office moves. Recently, I’ve spent much of my time creating and optimizing Microsoft SharePoint sites and helping implement, train, and support Microsoft Teams, Lists, Outlook, OneNote, and other Microsoft and Office 365 products.
No matter what the project, I focus on how individuals and teams actually use technology, and I work closely with management and end-users to design user-friendly solutions, training, and support resources so everyone feels confident with the technology they rely on.
